The countdown has begun. On monday January the 16th. we release the musicvideo for Redemption Song. As the albumtrack, the video will features Mia Coldheart from Crucified Barbara in duet with Mikkel.
Like the video for Rise and Fall, this new video is shot'n'cut by our good friends "A-Rock & HobbE", and once again they have outdone themselves. We are very happy with the result, and can't wait to show you guys.

It is now confirmed that SuperCharger is nominated in 2 categories at the 2012 Bandit Rock Awards. The categories are "Best international album" and "Best beakthrough".

We are so sorry to inform you all that our bassplayer, and oldtime body, Brian has decided to leave the band. After nearly 200 nights of R'n'R, thousands of hours in a van and of course alot of really twisted party experiences together, we can only say that we´re gonna miss him alot.
Brian will play his last show at The Rock in Cph. the 22nd. of october. New bass player will be revealed same night on stage..!!

On the 22nd of October SuperCharger is returning to The Rock in the center of Copenhagen to throw the party they used to!! – proving they´re still one of the banner keepers of rock and roll parties.
A night where SuperCharger will visit the venue they first started out on with demo tracks and wrapped their reputation of wild concerts with loads of booze, strippers and various additional happenings. Since then the band has released their debut “Handgrenade Blues” and the follow up from 2011; “That´s How We Roll”, besides played a great amount of concerts.
Even though this might just be your next SuperCharger concert in line or your first ever, make sure you don´t miss out on a steaming hot The Rock, on a night where no strings will be attached and join in as the band guarantee a cool live show and plenty of chances to sing-a-long
Various tracks from our latest album “That’s How We Roll” will be used as soundtrack for a new Danish action/adventure movie, called “The Last Demon Slayer”. Stay tuned for further info on this new movie by the Danish director and producer Shaky Gonzalez/”First Tribe Films & Phenomena Pictures”.
As an alternative teaser for the upcoming film, SuperCharger has been invited to join in on the set, to shoot a trailer for the film, using the track “Heart On Overdrive” as soundtrack and the band themselves being a part of the scenes.
The band is getting ready for more video projects as well as a remaining 2011 with numerous European concerts and touring, starting out at Malmö Festival as one of this year Bandit Rock Radio bands.

This will probably be the last studio blog on the recording sessions of the new SuperCharger album... Which we still haven´t found out what to call... Even the tracklist is still not in position by numbers.
But we´re very happy with the result. Actually we have to wait like a week or so to hear the final mix and master of it, but the pre-mix is good and we expect that on the 17th of December 2010 we will have a new top dolla´ SuperCharger album between our hands!
Lars Lee Lewis was the last to record some final details and we did some bar crowd yelling on a few hook lines (as Anders calls them). Those will probably hand the right feeling to the various song parts in the end...
We are very much looking forward to release this album. This Blog might be updated again with tittle and release info when time comes... But so far the album will be released on the 23rd of March (in Denmark) and our first single will be released already on the 24th of January.
...and then its time to drink a lot of beer and party harder than 2009 and 2010... New tours will also be posted here and on our FB, MS, HP etc.

At the moment and as every day go by its hard work in the studio, but due to the two master minds behind the screens, there are so much progress all the time. This album will both reply to the wicked rock ´n roll heads and to all the other various music lovers. We hope all will find something in these 12 songs that suits their rhythm and rock their socks and panties.
We actually should be finishing up by the mid or end of next week, but ... We´ll see. There are still various things that needs to be recorded and we haven´t even started recording the harmonica yet as well as some chorus lines... but it´ll be fine.
Next week also includes a photo session for the cover artwork. We have talked to our good friend Jakob Printzlau a.k.a. PlasticKid
He will be taking care of all artwork for the new album. Jakob has done some really original art and installation projects, both in videos and general visual works, so we are happy to have him arranging the concept for the new SuperCharger album.
We should also soon be able to release some more details on both songs and especially title, but for now we´ll hold back on the release period till we know for sure.

We´re still in the studio recording what will be the next SuperCharger album. It looks like the hard work is paying off. We are pretty much doing everything in details over and over again. Everything is being analyzed and turned up and down to make sure its need and tight, But in the end there is no way other than to play hard, rock and roll.
This week all guitars have been recorded. The new songs are a big mix of hard-rock songs, rockabilly-songs, rock-songs, country-songs and what-should-we-call-´em-songs, but we still need to record lead guitar tracks and all kinds of other things (more of this in the next blogs). We have now reached a point where we get to know our new material and are presented to the result of few months of work behind us.

At this point we have barely played any of the tracks together in full. We just decided that it was about time for SuperCharger to hand out some new music. None of us really have any patience, so things need to happend now, and it was a little hard making all plans work out with producer, co-producer, bandtime, dinnertime, chuch at sundays and so on, to make it all work out.
But we are there now... We have recorded all drums in only 2-3 days. The usual hard hitting german "Benjamin aus Kiel" did a tremendous job as ever, even though we just finished up the last track 2 days before he started recording, and he even had time to come up with some new stuff on the percussion side for some extravagance tracks for this album.
And Lars Lee Lewis stopped by a night or two and recorded almost 8 tracks of real piano and it really sounds great... There´s a huge difference already in that particular element of our music, but hot-damn it will fill out that wall of sound in the end... Lars has become a fulltime member of SuperCharger since the Handgrenade Blues album, and also literary speaking in the music and the tracks, so you listeners will experience much more of that sweet wooden piano-beating!

Copenhagens most Rocking venue The Rock have undergone af much needed make-over, and SuperCharger will be playing at the Re-Launch party on November the 13th. We hope to see ya all.

Ahead of this release, a campaign of promotion has been launched in cooperation with Gordeon Music and the result of reviews and talk-offs can be found in the SuperCharger Myspace blogs. As soon as the album is out SuperCharger will return to the highways South of Denmark to play concerts and strive to find a hardworking European booking agency.

The debut album “Handgrenade Blues” was released in Denmark ultimo October and has in late January been released in Sweden, Norway, Belgium and The Netherlands. After the mini-tour, in mid March, the album will hit Switzerland, Austria and Germany through Gordeon Music Promotion.

Germany, Switzerland and Austria.

Also SuperCharger is nominated for the Best debut album and the Peoples Choice Award at this years Danish Metal Awards, which is held this saturday. We're really looking forward for this event and hope for the best.

I kid' you not! To get from the enterence to the concert-hall, you have to go through a f***** palm-forrest.
All in all... a very cool place, cool stage and lighting-rig and very competant and friendly people. We hope to get back to the "Botanique" some time soon.
The show is set up as a kind of a showcase for us, to get in on the european marked. Hopefully some agents, bookers etc. to come see the show.
This award nomination is of course imortant for us and we appreciate it very much. We're all looking forward to the show on January the 16th.
